2. Eligibility & Use of the Site
You must be 18 or over to purchase from our site. You agree not to use our products for any unlawful purpose, and not to transmit any viruses, malware, or destructive code.
We may refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason (acting reasonably).
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Please ensure your information (email, billing/shipping details, payment details) is current, complete and accurate.
4. Ordering Process & Contract Formation
Your order is an offer to buy. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch the product(s) and send a dispatch confirmation email, at which point a contract is formed. If we cannot accept your order (e.g., because a product is out of stock, a pricing/description error, or we suspect fraud), we will notify you and refund any sums paid.
We may limit or cancel quantities per person, household or order.
5. Prices, Taxes & Payment
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We may change prices at any time before acceptance of your order.
Payment is taken via approved methods shown at checkout. By submitting payment details, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method and authorise us (and our payment providers) to charge the full order amount, including taxes, delivery and any agreed charges.
6. Delivery, Risk & Title
Delivery options, timing and charges are shown at checkout. Any delivery dates are estimates.
Risk in goods passes on delivery to your address (or to your nominated safe place/recipient). Title passes when we receive full payment.
Please inspect goods on delivery and contact us promptly about any issues.
7. Product Information & Availability
We take reasonable care to display product descriptions and images accurately, but screens vary and minor differences may occur. All products are subject to availability and we may discontinue or change products at any time.
8. Returns, Cancellations & Warranty
Your statutory rights are explained in our Returns & Warranty Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary (not a substitute for the full policy):
-
Change of mind: You have a 14-day legal cooling-off period (we extend to 30 days) to cancel most online purchases; conditions/deductions may apply if goods were handled beyond what’s necessary to inspect them.
-
Faulty/not as described: You are entitled to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including a full refund within 30 days; after that, repair or replacement.
-
Warranty: Our products carry an 18-month warranty against manufacturing defects (with our refurbished replacement option after 30 days). Replacements carry the remaining original warranty (minimum 3 months on a replacement if less than 3 months remain).
Full details (including who pays postage at different stages) are set out in the Returns & Warranty Policy on our site. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
9. Optional Tools & Third-Party Services
We may provide access to third-party tools and services which we do not control and provide “as available”, without warranties. Your use of such tools/services is at your discretion and subject to the third party’s terms.
Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
10. User Content (Comments, Reviews, Submissions)
If you submit content (e.g., reviews, suggestions), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish and distribute such content for our business purposes. You warrant that your content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe third-party rights. We may remove content we reasonably consider unlawful, offensive, or in breach of these Terms.
11. Personal Information
Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
12. Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions
From time to time there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions (e.g., descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, transit times, availability). We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information or cancel orders prior to dispatch. If we cancel after you have paid, you will receive a full refund.
13. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the site or its content:
(a) for unlawful purposes; (b) to infringe IP rights; (c) to harass, abuse or discriminate; (d) to submit false or misleading information; (e) to upload viruses or malicious code; (f) to collect personal data without consent; (g) to spam or scrape; (h) to interfere with security features.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach this section.
14. Important: Data Loss, Installation & Call-Out Fees
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
-
We are not responsible for any loss of data, including but not limited to camera recordings, SD-card contents, or footage stored on third-party services. You are responsible for implementing appropriate data back-ups/retention.
-
We are not liable for any installation, removal, configuration, or call-out costs/fees incurred by you or third parties, including where a product is returned, repaired, replaced, or found to be non-faulty.
-
We are not liable for issues caused by incorrect installation, misuse, failure to follow instructions, unsuited third-party accessories, environmental factors (e.g., power/network outages, insufficient signal, weather), or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This section does not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and does not affect your statutory remedies for faulty goods.
15. Service Levels & Software
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the site or any related software, app, or cloud service. From time to time, maintenance or updates may affect availability. Where our products interoperate with third-party networks/services (e.g., mobile data, Wi-Fi, cloud storage), we are not responsible for those third-party services.
16. Warranties, Statutory Rights & Our Liability
Your statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including that goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described) or our duty to use reasonable skill and care.
We do not exclude or limit liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breach of your statutory rights in relation to goods; or any matter where exclusion/limitation would be unlawful.
If you are a consumer: We are only responsible for foreseeable loss or damage you suffer as a result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, nor for losses that are business-related (e.g., loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity).
If you are a business customer: Our total liability arising out of or in connection with a contract for goods or services shall be limited to the price paid for the relevant goods/services, and we exclude all implied conditions and warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We shall not be liable for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
17. Indemnity (Business Use)
If you are purchasing for business purposes, you agree to indemnify and hold Baxtech Services Ltd. harmless from claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the products/services.
18. Events Outside Our Control (Force Majeure)
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, strikes, labour disputes, utility failures, internet/telecom failures, outages of third-party platforms, acts of government, or pandemic-related restrictions.
19. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site where you materially breach these Terms, or where we are required to by law or competent authority. Termination does not affect rights and obligations accrued up to the date of termination.
20. Intellectual Property
All content on the site (text, graphics, logos, images, software) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
21. Severance & No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. A failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Returns & Warranty Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
23. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland) in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively.
