Once your Multi-SIM is activated and inserted into your RuralView camera, it will automatically connect to the strongest available mobile signal at your location.

It can connect to all major UK networks, including EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, so there’s no need to manually test networks or choose a provider yourself.

Your camera simply connects to the best available signal on your property.

Mobile networks can sometimes experience local outages, maintenance work or signal issues.

With RuralView Multi-SIM, your camera is not tied to just one network. If one network becomes unavailable, the SIM can automatically switch to the next strongest available network.

This helps keep your camera online and gives you a backup connection if your local mast goes down.

Unlike most SIM providers, RuralView lets you add extra SIMs to one shared plan instead of paying for a separate full contract for every camera.

Extra SIMs cost just £4.50 per month each and share the data from your chosen plan.

This makes it a simple and cost-effective option if you have more than one camera across your farm, yard, barn, gate or site.

For example, if you have 3 SIMs on the Standard plan:
First SIM on Standard plan: £11.99/month
Extra SIM 1: £4.50/month
Extra SIM 2: £4.50/month
Total: £20.99/month

This means you only pay for the extra SIMs — not a separate full plan for every camera.

Your camera only uses 4G data when you open the app to view it live or download footage.

Your camera can still record 24/7 to the SD card without using your 4G data allowance.

Data is mainly used when you:
Watch the live viewDownload recorded clips
Review footage remotely through the app

Simple actions, such as changing settings, use very little data.

The more often you view your camera through the app, the more streaming time you’ll need.

Your camera will continue to record footage and function as normal.

However, once your streaming allowance has been used, you may lose live access through the app and stop receiving notifications until your plan renews or you add more streaming time.

If you use more data than usual one month, you can purchase a one-off streaming add-on. This attaches to your account until your billing date.
