Farming Equipment & Technology Fund 2024.

The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) is a Government grant scheme that will help all farmers, horticulture growers, forestry owner and contractors to them get money back for equipment. This grant applies only to those based in England. There are 3 'sub grants' that are made to help buy items that:

  • improve productivitiy
  • manage slurry
  • improve animal health and welfare

How Much Money Can You Save?

The grants cover 50% to 60% of the purchase price (exc VAT) of the items listed in the Slurry & Productivity and Animal Health & Welfare Grant.

Our 360 Zoom Camera is approved under both these grants, meaning you can save a massive 50% on each camera.

You'll have to bare in mind your minumum spend when applying will have to be atleast £2000 on grant approved items.

Grant: Improve Productivitiy - Productivity items and specifications

Sub heading: FETF219 - Cameras for monitoring farmyard

Application dates: 6 March and 17 April 2024

Expected average cost of item (£): 291
Grant amount (based on a quantity of 1) (£): 145.50

Item must:
 • be a camera for monitoring farmyards
 • use IP (internet protocol)
 • use either Wi-Fi, fibre, or mobile data connections
 • be outdoor rated IP66 or more
 • have pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) functionality
 • have day and night visionhave night vision range of 50m minimum
 • have 18 x zoom or better
 • have definition of 1,080 pixels or more
 • have recording facility either through a central recording device or have emovable memory cards
 • be compatible with online viewing app for smart phones or tablets

MAXIMUM OF 6 CAMERAS

Grant: Improve Animal Health and Welfare - Animal health and welfare items and specifications

Sub heading: FETF100SH - Camera for monitoring livestock

Application dates: 20 March and 1 May 2024 

Expected average cost of item (£): 304
Grant amount (based on a quantity of 1) (£): 152

Item must:
 • be a camera for monitoring livestock that can connect to the internet
 • have a minimum protection rating of IP66
 • be able to pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ)
 • have day and night vision with a minimum infrared range of 50m
 • have a minimum zoom of 16X and be able to generate images with a minimum of 1080 pixels
 • be compatible with an online viewing app

Who is Eligible?

You can apply for a grant if your business is based and registered in England and you’re a:
  • farmer
  • horticulturalist
  • forestry owner
  • contractor carrying out services to farmers, horticulturalists or forestry owners

You may be eligible to apply if you’ve received money from previous FETF grants or the Countryside Productivity Scheme (CPSG).

The FETF Animal Health and Welfare grant is only available if you farm any of the following:
  • beef cattle
  • dairy cattle
  • sheep
  • pigs
  • laying
  • chickens (including rearing and breeding farms)
  • broiler chickens (including rearing and breeding farms)

Other types of livestock and poultry, including goats, ducks, turkeys, geese and gamebirds, are not eligible for funding.
